FAQ
Good questions, asked often.
Booking & walk-ins
- Do you take walk-ins?
- Yes — when there's an open chair. Especially in summer, calling ahead or booking online is the safest bet.
- How far in advance should I book?
- For peak season (June–September), as early as you can. For weddings, 3–6 months out is ideal.
- Can I book a specific stylist?
- Yes. Each stylist sets their own schedule — book directly through the online system, or call and we'll help.
Color & corrective work
- I had a bad color experience elsewhere — can you help?
- Yes. We start with a consultation so we can plan timing and pricing before any color is mixed.
- Do you do balayage?
- Yes. Hand-painted, freehand work meant to grow out softly — built to live well with sun and salt.
- How often should I refresh color?
- Depends on the service. We'll set a realistic cadence at your appointment.
Visiting Provincetown
- I'm here on vacation — can you fit me in?
- Often, yes. Book ahead through the online system; if nothing's open, call us.
- Where exactly are you?
- 182 Commercial Street, the main walking street. Easy to find on foot from anywhere in the East End.
- Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
- Yes — proudly. Inclusive by default, gender-neutral pricing, and a team that reflects the town.
Products
- What products do you carry?
- Davines and Neuma — both certified clean, color-safe, and sustainably made.
- Are they color-safe?
- Yes. That's a baseline for everything we put on the shelf.
